This is what is left of Albert S. Norton's membership badge(s) in the G.A.R.

Apparently his wife, Sarah E. (Hamilton) Norton was in the Ladies G.A.R.

Since many of these buttons etc. are of later date than the death of Albert S. Norton, I believe that his wife and son (Albert F. Norton) continued to attend the encampments and dedications. There are numerous 'guest' pins.
