Scoil Gaeilge Ghearóid Tóibín invites you to participate in today's Sruth Gaeilge / A Stream of Irish an official function of the 28th Annual Nassau County AOH Feis. This is an Irish language party which begins at 2PM on the Feis grounds. Instead of a formal language competition, anyone who wants to read, recite, sing, act, or listen is welcome. We hope to hear history, poetry, genealogy, storytelling, sean-nós singing, Gaelic rock 'n roll, current events, stand-up comedy, and whatever else you want to do or say, from children and adults, all in Irish at whatever level you can manage. Look for us on the Feis grounds, and bíodh greann againn ! Let's have Fun! Also, don't forget that the Gerry Tobin Irish Language School's free, weekly classes and workshops for adults and children at all levels will begin Thursday, 9/21/00, at the AOH Hall in Babylon at 7:45PM.
